This notice sets out the information that Ray Studios Tattoo Removal Ireland Limited is required to make available to users and visitors (the "Users") of www.ray-studios.com/ie (the "Site") under section 151 of the Companies Act 2014, the European Communities (Companies) Regulations 1973 as amended, and the European Communities (Directive 2000/31/EC) Regulations 2003, S.I. No. 68 of 2003 (the "E-Commerce Regulations").

Article 3. What we do and what the Site is for

Ray studios is a brand operated by the Ray Studios group, a network of studios specialising in laser tattoo removal.

Our treatments are carried out by trained skin therapists using laser devices, following the protocols set by the group. Every client has a consultation before any treatment begins, so that we can assess your tattoo, discuss what to expect and identify anything that would make treatment unsuitable.

The Site is primarily informative. It lets you read about the services we offer, book an appointment through our dedicated booking engine, and get in touch with our teams.

Article 4. Access to the Site

The Site is available free of charge to any User with an internet connection, at any time, except in cases of force majeure or events outside our control.

We may close the Site, or access to any of its services, temporarily or permanently and without notice or compensation, in order to carry out updates or to make changes to how the Site operates, to our servers or to availability. This list is not exhaustive.

All costs of accessing the Site (hardware, software, internet connection and so on) are yours alone.

We are not liable for any loss of any kind resulting from the Site being unavailable.

Article 5. Intellectual property

5.1 Ownership of content

Everything on the Site (text, graphics, logos, icons, images, photographs, videos, sound, and the layout and structure of the Site itself) belongs to us or to our partners, and is protected by the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000, the Trade Marks Act 1996 and the other intellectual property laws that apply.

The Ray studios name and the associated logos are registered trade marks. Reproducing or using them in whole or in part without our prior written permission is prohibited and constitutes infringement.

5.2 Permitted use

You may view and print content from the Site for your own strictly personal and private use. Any commercial or advertising use is excluded.

Any other use, in particular reproducing, communicating to the public, adapting, modifying, publishing or commercially exploiting all or part of the Site by any means, is prohibited without our prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of the Site or of anything it contains may give rise to civil or criminal liability.

6.1 Links from the Site to third-party sites

The Site may contain links to websites published by third parties. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, their practices, their availability or whether they comply with the law.

Following a link to a third-party site is entirely at your own risk.

Setting up a link to the Site requires our prior written permission, which you can request at contact@ray-studios.com. We may ask for any link we consider contrary to our interests to be removed.

How we process the personal data collected through the Site is set out in our Privacy Policy, available from every page of the Site.

That policy is issued under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336 of 2011), and covers:

• transfers outside the European Economic Area;

Article 8. Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, and we may change it at any time without notice.

• for any imprecision, inaccuracy or omission in the information available on the Site;

• for any loss resulting from a third party gaining unauthorised access to the Site and altering the information on it;

• more generally, for any loss, direct or indirect, whatever its cause, origin, nature or consequences, arising from anyone accessing the Site or being unable to access it.

If you are a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 that this notice does not affect.

If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (www.ccpc.ie), or, for cross-border matters within the European Union, the European Consumer Centre Ireland (www.eccireland.ie).

Article 10. Governing law and jurisdiction

This notice is governed by Irish law.

Any dispute about the use of the Site or the interpretation of this notice that cannot be resolved between us will be dealt with by the Irish courts. If you are a consumer resident in another Member State of the European Union, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
